Jamey Rootes, President

Jamey Rootes serves as President of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment and is responsible for all business functions of LSSE. Rootes is also President of the Houston Texans. Rootes has been with LSSE and the Texans for nine years and has been in the professional sports industry for many years.

Under Rootes’ leadership, LSSE has become a premier event services company, producing record-breaking soccer events and the Texas Bowl at Reliant Stadium, among other events.

David Brady, Director

David Brady is Director of Lone Star Sports & Entertainment and oversees all aspects of both the Reliant Stadium events and off-campus properties managed by LSSE.

Brady also serves as the Public Address Announcer at Reliant Stadium for Houston Texans home games.

Brady is entering his 4th year with LSSE and the Texans and his 18th in the professional sports industry.

Heather Houston, Event Marketing Manager

Heather Houston joined Lone Star Sports & Entertainment in August 2006 to help launch the first-ever Texas Bowl. While focusing on the Texas Bowl game, Houston also manages sponsor relations across all LSSE properties.

Houston started her 15-year marketing and event career in New York at the critically acclaimed cable television network, Classic Sports Network, where she was a member of the original twelve-person start-up team. During her tenure at Classic Sports, Houston developed and managed the network's affiliate marketing efforts and helped grow the network's subscriber base to over 30 million. In 1997, Classic Sports was acquired by ESPN and The Walt Disney Company, where Houston was hired as an affiliate marketing manager across all ESPN networks.

Houston left ESPN in 1999 when she joined Track Entertainment, a music marketing agency, to manage the Sting/Compaq world tour sponsorship. At Track, Heather managed successful music-based marketing programs for a number of clients including Rolling Rock, Pepsi and Easy Spirit.

Houston lives in Houston with her husband, David.

Bil Marzouki, Business Development Manager

Bil Marzouki joined Lone Star Sports & Entertainment as a Corporate Development Manager in November 2007. Marzouki previously worked as a Senior Partnerships Manager for the Houston Aeros (Minnesota Sports and Entertainment) and as a Group Sales Director for Live Nation and Clear Channel Entertainment.

Marzouki graduated from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and lives in the Houston area with his wife, Lauren, and son, Gavin.

Callye Dannheim, Event Marketing Coordinator

A native of Cedar Hill, TX, Dannheim first joined LSSE in 2005 as an intern while majoring in economics, managerial studies, and sports management in Rice University. At Rice, she played on the varsity soccer team for 2 years and then became a member of the U.S. Inline Speed Skating team competing in France, Cuba, Belgium, and China. After graduating in May 2007, Dannheim rejoined LSSE and was hired full-time in January 2008. She assists with client services, marketing, and event operations for all LSSE events.

Dannheim lives in Houston.
